15th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death

Today is the 15th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death. Elephantbeans celebrates his life because if it wasn’t for the teenage angst, we wouldn’t be here looking for some hope.

After all, the band’s name was Nirvana, whereas the cover of their latest studio album In Utero was created by visionary artist and vajrayana practitioner Alex Grey (AKA the guy behind Sacred Mirrors, who’s also done tons of artwork for Tool).

Here’s a little clip of a great interview with Kurt, on how it all seems to be about looking for a purpose in life:
